Gratitude is something I think about a lot. I find that thinking about gratitude leads me to looks for things to be grateful for, and that mindfulness is soothing and grounding. Gratitude illuminates a lot of little things I would have missed – details that would have been lost on me as I buzz through life. It helps to neutralize situations that might have been negative. Gratitude slows me down – and if you’ve known me long, you’ll understand how much I need that.
Gratitude is important for the big things too- I am not exaggerating when I say that gratitude saved my marriage.
